Cambridge University Press: Open Access - over 40 journals in a variety of subject areas.

CORE - is a multidisciplinary aggregator of open access research. It allows users to search more than 66 million open access articles. While most of these link to the full-text article on the original publisher's site, five million records are hosted directly on CORE.

Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) - the Directory of Open Access Journals is a website that hosts a community-curated list of open access journals, covering all science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts, and humanities. Infrastructure Services maintain it for Open Access.

Google Scholar has been a secret weapon of students for years. Here you can search topics, and it will return relevant, reputable articles, journals, and research. Full texts are sometimes available, while others are behind paywalls on publishers' websites. ​

HathiTrust contains over seven million volumes and over one billion pages of scanned books and other materials. About 20 percent of all content is in the public domain (and accessible to you). Content is available in several image formats, text, and PDF. 1200s-present.

Humanities Diliman : A Philippine Journal of Humanities -  is an internationally refereed journal for the humanities which comes out semi-annually. An open-access journal, it is multilingual and both disciplinal and multi-disciplinary. Humanities Diliman (HD) promotes scholarship in the arts and humanities in the Philippines, as well as international synergies, especially with scholars on Southeast Asia. Manuscripts and reviews are welcome. Papers submitted will undergo double-blind peer review before final approval for publication.

JSTORis a very well-known resource, offering access to journals, primary sources, and books in a variety of disciplines. You can register for a free account, but many of the articles are behind a paywall.

JURNis a search engine that provides you with links to various scholarly websites, articles, and journals that are all available for free.

Lumina: An Interdisciplinary and Scholarly Journal - a refereed, interdisciplinary, research and scholarly journal of Holy Name University, Tagbilaran City, published every October and March of each year by the HNU Publication Office. It publishes articles from the HNU academic community, alumni, and other scholars from the Philippines and other countries throughout the globe. Research and scholarly papers in the basic and applied sciences, viz.: social, theological, philosophical, anthropological, natural and applied sciences, among others, and book reviews are accepted in this journal.

Microsoft Academic - provides you with "continually refreshed and extensive academic content from over 120 million publications." Some of these provide full-text access, while you will find others behind a paywall.

National Archives Catalog is a free resource that helps you find historical documents and journals.

Oxford Journals - this database of journals published by Oxford University Press acts as an archive of over 300 journals in a wide range of subjects. You can search by subject or keyword to find your desired subject, and full texts are provided when available.

Paperity boasts being the "first multi-disciplinary aggregator of open access journals and papers." Its focus is helping you avoid paywalls while connecting you to authoritative research.

SafetyLit - directs researchers to theses, reports, and journal articles focusing on safety and injury prevention.

SciELO - is a database with more than 1,249 scientific journals. It offers open access to scholarly documents in the fields of biology and technology. The site was "especially conceived to meet the scientific communication needs of developing countries," allowing you to search by region, as well as ensuring the visibility and accessibility of research from these areas.

Sparrho's  -  goal is to "democratise science," providing open access to over 45,000 journals.

SpringerLink - providing researchers with access to millions of scientific documents from journals, books, series, protocols, reference works, and proceedings.

SCIENTIA - is the official scholarly multi-disciplinary journal of the College of Arts and Sciences, San Beda University on the Liberal Arts. It focuses on Social Anthropology, Speculative Philosophy, Social and Political Philosophy, Systems of Ethics, Higher Religious Studies, Inter-religious Dialogue, Historical Issues and Historiography, New Historicism, Political Theories, Literary and Artistic Theories, Hermeneutics and Textual Criticism, Linguistics and Translation, Cultural and Gender Studies.
